Be certain you have someone available for your delivery so the candy does not sit in the hot sun. Melted candy can not be guaranteed. The filberts (hazelnuts) are panned in copper kettles until the whole nut is encased in crystallized sugar, a time-consuming process that takes days, but one we're sure you'll find well worth the effort. Whether you prefer to let these sweet treats slowly melt in your mouth until you get to the filbert nut or simply bite right into them, you won't be able to resist them. 1lb. bag contains approx. 38 candies.

This candy arrives in our store in bulk quantities and is packed for your order when we receive the order. We package small quantities of this candy in cellophane bags that are heat-sealed. We then seal and bag again for product safety and include an ingredients label. Products are then boxed and shipped. Larger quantities are double bagged for safety and an ingredients label is included. It is then boxed and sealed for shipment. If you want candies bagged in one pound bags, you will have to tell us that as when we receive an order or five pounds, we ship it as such.

Our cream filberts are soft and fresh. If you want old hard crunchy candy, you'll have to set it out and let it age:-)

It costs the same to ship 1 pound as it does to ship 2 pounds, so order 2 pounds and share with a friend.

They wereas good as I remembered them. I liked that i received them promptly and that they had taken care in packing them so they would not melt. And I'm going to order them again real soon.

These candies are very hard to find. Most candy dealers do not stock them. I stumbled on this site and am delighted! Love these candies! Keep making them.....taste SO good....perfect little dessert after a meal. Thanks!

Cream Filberts as I remember them

My mother and I used to walk to Sears in Memphis and go to the candy counter. That's where I first discovered cream filberts. They were so good! These from Boyd's are just as good, and just as I remember them. They were packaged really well, with a small cold pack to help them on their journey. The personal note was a nice touch too. Highly recommended!

I have been looking for these forever!!! When I would ask about them I didn't know the name but I would say white balls hard sugar outside soft sugar inside with nut in middle most people told me they never heard of them. Quite a few said my grandmother must of made them cause they didn't remember any such thing. When I found them on your site I knew and just had to have them. They are exactly what I remember and I'm overjoyed to be able to have them. The money spent was worth it!!! They arrived very quickly and were packaged very well not one broken or cracked!!!! I will definitely order more. Also thank you Pam for the little note you sent with them I truly appreciated the personal touch. Will order again and will be telling everyone I know about this rare gem of a candy store. Only disappointment no French Creams....

I love these "mothballs." My mom loved them too, so I grew up with them always in the house. Now when I have one, it brings back so many happy childhood memories.
