 Hot Weather Warning: If you are more than a two day ship from OH, I do not recommend you purchasing this item when temperatures exceed 71 degrees.  Be certain you have someone available for your delivery so the candy does not sit in the hot sun.  Melted candy can not be guaranteed.  We do our best to protect your candy, but can not control what happens in heat in excess of 70 degrees.

 The filberts (hazelnuts) are panned in copper kettles until the whole nut is encased in crystallized sugar, a time-consuming process that takes days, but one we're sure you'll find well worth the effort. Whether you prefer to let these sweet treats slowly melt in your mouth until you get to the filbert nut or simply bite right into them, you won't be able to resist them. 1lb. bag contains approx. 38 candies.

This candy arrives in our store in bulk quantities and is packed for your order when we receive the order.  We package small quantities of this candy in cellophane bags that are heat-sealed. We then seal and bag again for product safety and include an ingredients label. Products are then boxed and shipped.  Larger quantities are double bagged for safety and an ingredients label is included. It is then boxed and sealed for shipment. If you want candies bagged in one pound bags, you will have to tell us that as when we receive an order or five pounds, we ship it as such.
 
Our cream filberts are soft and fresh.  If you want old hard crunchy candy, you'll have to set it out and let it age:-)

 It costs the same to ship 1 pound as it does to ship 2 pounds, so order 2 pounds and share with a friend.

We are licensed and inspected by the Lucas County Health Department and the Ohio Department of Agriculture use a licensed exterminator, so you can rest assured your product is prepared and stored in a sanitary, and well maintained facility.

    These are a great classic candy that is hard to find. Yours are soft and creamy, better than I remember them. I will recommend you to others.

    I’ve looked for these old fashion candies every time I walked into candy stores all around the country with no luck. A simple google search and I found them here. I was so excited, I ordered 2 lbs right away. To my surprise they were in my mailbox literally in just a couple days. And they were exactly what I remembered eating as a young girl. They are sooo good, I’m hoarding them until Christmas. I did share a couple with a coworker so they knew just how good they are.

    These are exactly as we remembered them from our childhood. Melt in your mouth sweetness with a hazelnut center. We've been looking to find them for a long time and stumbled upon Boyds!

    The candy is delicious. The cost of shipping it to me sucks. Gotta hunt for somewhere else to get these!!!! Almost $22 for a lb of nuts is nuts.. lol
