Returns Policy

You may return most new, unopened items within 7 days of delivery for a full refund. You will need to contact us within 4 days to arrange for the product return.  We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item).

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.  You may also call the store at 419-720-7387 to address any concerns.

Shipping

We generally ship to the U.S. and Canada.  Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.

When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the USPS options  availabie. We ship by United States Post Office (USPS).  90% of the time we ship using Priority Mail which has a 2 to 3 business day delivery option. We ship within 24 hours of purchase except on Sundays.  Orders placed Saturday and Sunday are shipped on Monday unless Monday is a holiday in which case we ship Tuesday.  The USPS picks up mail at our location daily.   There may be times when the price of your shipping is calculated wrong via the website.  This occurs since we here at Boyd's strive to provide you the lowest cost for you shipment.  We have ways of cutting the cost on shipping and we want to pass that savings onto you.  If that is the case, we will either include extra candy or refund the difference so you receive full value for your shipping dollars.  When the temperatures are above 71 degrees F we will include cool shield and ice brix.  Cool shield and ice brix costs are part of the shipping charge.  Please keep in mind this will only protect from heat for a short time.  Keep in mind if your temperatures exceed 71 degrees F, this will not prevent some candies from melting.  We do our best to protect your candy, but ask you do not order if your temperatures are expected to exceed 71 degrees F.
