    Great Product -- Exorbitant Shipping

Posted by gil on 26th Sep 2013

Gustaf's black licorice laces are an international favorite whose quality speaks for itself.

However, I am appalled that Boyd's only shipping option within the state of OH was USPS that cost nearly as much as two pounds of product.
    Reply by Boyd's:
I'm sorry you felt the shipping cost was too high. I did check Fed Ex which just for shipping was $8.01 and UPS which just for shipping was $14.25. These rates are only what the carrier would charge Boyds and do not include any amount for packaging, cool wrap, nor ice brix. Please let me know if you have a carrier within Ohio for which the rate would be lower than USPS. Thank you so much for your assistance.
