Shipping:  USPS Priority Mail which is a 2 to 3 day delivery option.

At Boyd's, since the selections are predominantly made in pounds, we base our shipping in the same manner.  As always, we have your best interest in mind, and have set the Flat Rate system for shipping so that the cost doesn't leave a sour taste...that is the job for our Sour Patch Kids candy! Our shipping calculator allows around 3 lbs for a padded flat rate envelope.  Some products allow us to ship only two pounds and others allow us to ship 3 pounds at this lower rate.  It just depends on the bulkiness of the product.  For USPS there are now regional boxes which allow us to sometimes ship five pounds for just a little more, but we don't know the cost on a regional box until we know how far from our location the product is traveling, so we set the calculator such that purchases just under 3 pounds up to just under ten pounds receive a medium flat rate box rate.  When we can ship for less than calculated, we add extra candy or refund shipping dollars.  I hope this information helps you understand why sometimes shipping is more than the cost of a product as shipping is related to weight not to cost.  If you would like us to adjust your shipping, please email or call for a shipping quote once you have made your purchases but before you have paid.  Thank you so much for looking at our offerings.

We are licensed and inspected by the Lucas County Health Department and the Ohio Department of Agriculture and use a licensed exterminator, so you can rest assured your product is prepared and stored in a sanitary, and well maintained facility.
